| Cloisonné Beads and Pendants
|
| Cloisonné beads are produced by artisans in northern China by attaching gold or silver wire onto a metal bead in various designs, and painting the spacing with different colors of enamel. The beads are then baked and glazed to produce a very vibrant and unique look. Cloisonné work dates back several hundred years, and is used today to produce dinnerware and vases as well as beads. |
