| Pumtek Beads |
| Pumtek beads are quite rare and found in eastern Myanmar (formerly known as Burma) and made from fossilized wood. Original pumtek beads were created during the Pyu period, and were purchased by the Chin tribes in the surrounding areas. In the last century, pumtek beads have become treasured by collectors and enthusiasts alike. With production recently halted idefinately these items will continue to increase in value. |
